Cute little curved dish ideal for trinkets and jewellery or perfect size also for a small tealight candle – only your imagination can limit its use. It measures approx 8 cm x 8 cm and is made from Bullseye Tekta Clear Glass and Copper Oxide powder.  A layer of the black Copper Oxide powder is sprinkled randomly on a piece of Tekta and is then capped with a second piece of Tekta.  When the trinket dish has been “cooked” in the kiln the Copper Oxide changes from black into a beautiful blue colour and  hundreds and hundreds of tiny blue bubbles are also created during the firing process.  The random sprinkling of the Copper Oxide powder and the amount used on each trinket dish determines the size and number of bubbles created so it is therefore impossible to make two exactly the same.
