Lovely little square turquoise dish ideal for trinkets and jewellery or the perfect size also for a small tealight candle. It measures approximately 8 cm x 8 cm and is made from a base layer of Bullseye Tekta clear glass and a top layer of Bullseye turquoise opal glass.  Before firing in the kiln some clear glass cabachons have been placed, in rows, on top of the turquoise glass - this is to create a dilution design.  When diluting with opal glass colours do not fade so this can create wonderfully subtle patterns resembling optical illusions.  These trinket dishes although very similar are never identical which makes each one unique. Please note that these dishes are not dishwasher safe and hand washing is recommended.
